Recommendations are based on our experience with outdoor lighting fixtures in the Hilton Head Island area since 2007. The best practice for protection against corrosion is to consider solid brass or copper for accent lights, spot lights, and path lights. We suggest “lamp-ready sockets” with replaceable LED lamps, rather than factory-sealed integrated LED fixtures, which often need to be entirely replaced when the LED lamp fails. Look for key features as highlighted below.

This model uses replaceable LED G4 Bi-Pin Lamps. Kichler offers several varieties of professional landscape lighting fixtures, it is suggested to check first with local retail suppliers for brass models in stock, although special orders are available. Homeowners appreciate the accessibility of the Kichler products and parts, and the warranty services from a nationally recognized company.
